Himalayan Salt Tableware Wholesale for Kitchenware Brands
Carved salt salad plates, cooking and serving slabs, and the pink salt pestle — food-grade Warcha crystal supplied to kitchenware brands and homeware retailers.
For Brands Selling Kitchenware, Not Running Kitchens
Restaurants buy salt slabs to cook on. Kitchenware brands and homeware retailers buy them to sell, which is a different set of needs: consistent sizes from one order to the next, packaging that survives a retail shelf and a courier, and a product range broad enough to build a small collection around. This page is for that second group. If you run a kitchen and are buying for your own use, our page for restaurants and chefs is the better starting point.
Every piece is cut from food-grade Himalayan salt mined at Warcha and finished at our own factory. The same crystal goes into our edible salt line, which is covered by independent lab analysis and Halal and Kosher certification, so a kitchenware brand has documentation to point to when a retail buyer asks what the plate is actually made of.
The Tableware Range
The salt crockery line in our 2025 catalogue covers serving, cooking, and preparation, which lets a brand offer a small, coherent collection rather than a single novelty item.
- Carved salad plates — rectangular (AGSP-001), oval (AGSP-004) and leaf (AGSP-005) plates, plus apple (AGSP-002) and mango (AGSP-003) novelty shapes
- Cooking and serving slabs — a 2×8×12 inch slab (AGST-115), a round 6×6×2 slab (AGST-111), and a square slab (AGST-108)
- Pink salt pestle and mortar — a round carved Himalayan salt set (AGSP-015) for grinding spices and herbs
What Your Customers Will Use Them For
Good product copy starts with honest use instructions, and these pieces have clear, practical ones. A chilled salt plate or slab is used to serve sushi, sliced fruit, cheese, or charcuterie, lightly seasoning whatever rests on it. A slab warmed gradually in an oven or on a grill to around 400–500°F can be used to sear thin cuts of meat, seafood, or vegetables — the key instruction to pass on is to heat it slowly, since going straight to high heat can crack the slab. The pestle grinds whole spices and herbs, adding a light salinity as it does.
Care is equally simple and worth printing on the box: salt tableware should never be soaked or put in a dishwasher. Scrape off food, wipe with a barely damp cloth, and let it dry fully before storing it somewhere dry. With use the surface will change color and texture — that is normal for a natural salt piece, and setting that expectation up front reduces returns.
Private Label and Retail Packaging
Tableware ships in cushioned unit boxes inside master cartons as standard, packed for sea freight so slabs and plates arrive intact. For brands selling under their own name, we print and fill private-label retail boxes at the factory to your artwork, including care instructions and any compliance text your market requires, and keep your artwork on file so reorders match. A first order can mix plates, slabs, and pestles in one shipment, which makes it practical to launch a small collection rather than a single SKU.
Natural variation is worth planning for in your listings. Each plate and slab is cut from rock salt, so color ranges from pale to deep pink and the grain differs from piece to piece. Product photography that shows two or three units side by side, with a line stating that every piece is unique, sets the right expectation and reduces returns from customers expecting a perfectly uniform ceramic look.
Ordering and Quotes
Minimums for crafted salt items start around one pallet, and tableware can share a container with edible salt or other product lines. We do not publish a static price sheet, because the price depends on the design mix, packaging, quantity, and destination. Send us the pieces you are interested in, approximate quantities, and your destination port, and we will quote FOB Karachi or CIF your port in USD, usually within one business day. Samples are available before you commit to a full order.
Frequently Asked
Is Himalayan salt tableware food safe?
It is cut from the same food-grade Warcha crystal as our edible salt line, which is covered by independent lab analysis and Halal and Kosher certification. We supply that documentation with food-grade orders.
Can salt plates and slabs go in a dishwasher?
No. Scrape off food, wipe with a barely damp cloth, and let the piece dry fully. Soaking or dishwashing will dissolve and damage the salt.
Can we sell the tableware under our own brand?
Yes. We print and fill private-label retail boxes to your artwork, including care instructions, and keep the artwork on file for reorders.
What is the minimum order for salt tableware?
Around one pallet for crafted items, and a first order can mix plates, slabs and pestles in the same shipment.
